Perspectives on Electric Machines with Cryogenic Cooling

Cryogenic cooling is a well-established and expanding technology. In the field of electric machines, it allows construction more efficient machines with high power density. This paper addresses main technologies their impact on cryogenic machine construction, providing perspective for use in future electrical machines. Although cost safety issues systems are still holding back uptake motors generators, research this should provide significant improvements promote at different levels.
